I have just set up a new business in the US, with the aim to assist people in the purchase and import of their dream car. I have an office in the UK and in the US to help bridge the gap. If you would like to know more, or can offer any advice, please post a comment.

I live in Miami, the dealership I am partnering is in Ft Lauderdale, and brings in cars from around the US. The nearest port for RORO to the UK is Jacksonville which is a few hours north of me, or Miami port which only does containers.

Okay, I will get onto it. If you know anyone who would be interested in importing a car from the US, please send them my way, we pay a £300 intro fee when the deal completes.

here you go Mark, Nad and a few others have used them to bring parts in,
buy in the US, have your bits posted to their warehouse and they bring them over
http://www.moving-parts.com/

it was setup by one of the PH vette forum guys, though i think its still cheaper to buy tyres direct in the UK than pay all the charges. A quick search will show there's a few other companies doing the same thing

or if it would cheaper just to buy a set from JonB and let him send them over, its that plus 30% this end thats the killer
