Turbo or Supercharger for your Viper
Discussion
It depends on what year your Gen 2 Viper is. Up to 1999 the engines came with forged pistons, so if you want to put on Big boost then its no problem. In 2000 Dodge changed the structure of the pistons, meaning you are ok to run up to a 6lb pulley but anything more you would be asking for trouble if you did not change them for the Forged ones

Your car already has forged int. Really depends on what you want out of it...
Roe is reasonably easy to fit, cant comment on the others but mine put down 743Hp with a 10lb boost...
BUT ITS ALL IN THE TUNE!!!!!!!!!!
SCT seems very popular and reliable now.... AEM is now not available due to reliablity issues..

I am wondering if there is any value in sending my Euro ECU to Chris and asking him to see if its set the same as a US one and if not then to set it as it should be. I think its possible I have lack of back pressure issues as well so might debate a Corsa at some point but do love the popping noises I currently get.
I'm with Paul also to an extent, I suspect there are differences but none that are going to make a significant difference to performance, certainly not enough to warrant the cost of a US ECU or a re-programming of a euro one (although its your money)
The dyno day showed if anything that they are all over the place in terms of BHP there was no clear do this or that and you will have a stronger engine (short of a charger) or US vs EU origin. Your more likely to get a faster getaway with fresh tyres, technique and a cold crisp morning with a heated road.
I know from driving both the GTS and ACR they both pull differently on different days with different weather, some days they will launch like a rocket, others they will feel sluggish and particularly with the ACR the RPM you have when you floor it. too little and it will be a sluggish take off even after you pass the RPM when things wake up.
One thing i am absolutely convinced of is that any viper is very sensitive to conditions, be it tyre pressure and tracking (can take a undrivable car to a pleasurable car) or temperature and humidity, i dynoed 504BHP in jan and 480 when we had the dyno day when it was about 15c warmer.
