Dodge Viper Bonnet Moulds
Discussion
Just found these on ebay... Starting bid of £15.00

I have absolutely no idea if they are any of any use to anyone, but you never know...
At that price it's almost worth buying and having a pop at making one of those Diamondback hoods I keep seeing on the VCA site...
On the other hand I may be being a little optimistic about the simplicities of doing that kind of thing...

rather than bidding each other up I would like this to make carbon hoods what do you think ?
you are right, sounds like a good idea. let me know if you get them and need a hand with the carbon hoods - no experience there but always wanted to give it a go and should be fun...Just a comment so you're not disappointed, as not sure people realise what they are looking at, if you've not worked with moulds before you wouldn't, so don't take offence. But, as Colin has already said that doesn't look like a mould, as its gel coat finish on the outside, a mould needs that smooth finish on the inside of the hood, so that you lay up against it and get the smooth finish top side of the part you are making. Carbon is quite tricky to work with to get a good finish, and you need to vac-bag it or you wont really save much weight over fibreglass.
