I am about to do the baffles mod on my 2002 RT and thought it's a good idea to change the gasket as well (mine is slightly leaking at the moment). Any idea if I can get it in the UK or do I have to order it from the states?

They are reusable if not damaged.... The oil leak is usually through the bolts as they are open holes ......

If you really want a new one in theory you should be able to go to any Chrysler dealer and order one. in reality give chuck a call and you will likely have one within the week.

The only problem with chuck is paying him as he doesn't take cards. If you use your bank it will cost a fortune so take a look at these guys www.xe.com you can set up an account and send the money at a reasonable to good exchange rate and using electronic funds transfer at both ends it shouldn't cost you a penny in transaction fees. just dont select wire or chaps

Thanks Dave, Chrysler UK charges 179 GBP + vat and 5 days delivery (it's 169 USD from Viper parts of America) I have already ordered stuff from Chuck, I have a friend in NY who could send him a check...guess will wait till I drop the oil pan down and see if the old one plus sealant is any good.

LOL!!! Phone post....

They are alloy with a rubber insert so quite large and fragile..

Usally a bit of sealer on the bolts does the trick...

Yes as per the Doctor normally the front bolts, take them right out silicon sealer them and put them back in, they wick down the threads from the front cover.
