I'm finding it surprisingly hard to find out what the volume of the washer fluid reservoir is on my 1996 RT/10! My car's not with me right now so it's not as simple as going and measuring it. Can anyone tell me? Also the volume of the Gen 2, 3 and 4 reservoirs?

I'm trying to work out if I can also use it for a reservoir for water/methanol injection after all. If it's just not big enough, I'm considering changing it for a larger one from a different car - anyone done this?

Thanks in advance.

The GTS Owners Manual says 1lt.
Not sure what the other Gens are but I'd be surprised if they were much different.
Ade.

Cheers. Yes, 1.1 litre in my car. Not big enough for water/meth inj reservoir! Going to see about locating a larger tank from a different make of car to see if that'll fit.

Not sure if you have thought about this Hamish, but you will need a working washer fluid reservoir for the purposes of an MOT, but that may or may not be an issue for you? just thought I'd better mention it.

Yes. I'd keep the washer pump in the reservoir aswell. Dual purpose! smile
