Not a huge deal, but 2 things I need to get sorted before VOSA will issue me my IVA Certificate:

1) Rear Fog Lamp (fitted)

2) Front & rear positional lamps must only emit white light to the front / red light to the rear.

So, that being said can someone reccomend a good shop / garage type place that does IVA work?
(Preferably near / in South Wales or West / South West England)

Thanks in advance! smile

err, hello, care to introduce yourself? maybe tell us what it is your IVA'ing given you spammed this across about 5 forums I'm guessing its not necessarily a viper you need help with.

Sorry Dave, I didn't mean to spam. Just looking for some advice.

I've got a LHD 2008 Pontiac G8 GT. It's basically like a Vauxhall VXR8 or Holden Commodore.....

I just posted in some related thread areas to my car.....

That's ok, its just your first post was a bit short and blunt and didn't really tell us that it wasn't a viper we were IVA'ing, therefore our advice may not have been appropriate.

As it goes you look like your quite close, i assume you know the problems because you have been through your first IVA with it.

On my viper I had the front indicators and side lights were shared. to resolve this i cut the side light signal to the bulb and routed it into some stick on LED lights from halfords. just remember they have to be close to the edge of the car (40cm IIRC but check the iva manual)and visible 45degrees inboard.

Not sure what your rear light problem is but again you can now get away with a lot using stick on LED strips. I have seen that done for the new camaro.

If you have managed to fit a fog light then you shouldn't need a garage to do the rest.

Don't forget though the fog light has to come on with the correct headlight settings not just when you flip the switch, you also have to have a 'tell' on the dash (illuminated switch) and it has to be visible and in reach of the driver, plus minimum radius edges if outside the protected zone.
