TPMS Question - SRT

Wonder if anyone knows this... Can I run wheels which do not have TPMS sensors installed on an SRT without the TPMS going spastic and driving me to distraction by bonging every 2 seconds?

after the first bout of mental when it realises it has no sensors, mine only does 2 bongs when i start up and then i just have the light on.

i cant remember who but there is someone in the us that will program up a second set of sensors with the same ID as yours so you can have 2 sets of wheels and no need to re-program the computer each time.

Have a search on the vca for the supplier.

Hi Dave, thanks, I'm thinking about next week - the 1000 mile Germany trip and if I fit the GTS's wheels with brand new tyres will it drive me spastic.... I'd like to wear the GTS's tyres down a bit rather than them just get old!

not TPMS, but the stock GTS front wheels wont clear the brembo gen3 calipers without spacers

Sounds like it might be worth the effort swapping over then - especially if its wet as I'll have nice new, safe, soft rubber boots on the car
