A number of us have been before, including some as part of the convoy. I went to the first one not sure if last year was different but its basically a turn up, park in a field, see some expensive cars arrive, wonder around going 'ooh' and 'ahh' have a sandwich and then head home. The venue is fantastic, the roads there from my way are good (opposite direction to you les) and it was a pretty good day out. I'll only go this year though if the weather is stunning...

OK, Now dont jump down my throat, but...there is a slightly different format this year. This event has got bigger and bigger and sadly many cars that have been before have not made the list this time round frown Jaykabi is the organiser and responsible for the invites.

Now for those that have been before on the (pre) Wilton House runs the format this year will be changing. In the past word got round to those in the know and various convoys to a pre Wilton House early am event was a bit of a free for all for anyone that tagged on at the motorway services (or before) wink

I know of several people who have been to this event before sadly not making the cut this year frown
Ive been told I have 'just' scraped in this year! (but that's to be expected owning a Lighting McQueen Red Viper) biggrin

If you have not been invited to any of the early morning stuff then its really not worth you turning up early at the usual meeting points expecting to tag on frown I have been informed that passes will be handed out to drivers on the entry list and that anyone without a pass will not be allowed to take part in the AM venue. These passes will also be used to gain entry to the show area within Wilton House its self, so again it will not be the case of any tagging on. Pistonheads have a thread running on this event under 'events meetings travel' so check it out smilehttp://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

It really is a great day and there will be some stunning cars there, but sadly I dont think there will be many Vipers on display in the main areas. frown

You will need to Contact Jay Via his website and register your car with him
http://www.jaykaybi.com/ OR.....

You could also drop him a PM Via Pistonheads. There's a lot going on to make this event really really BIG so its worth registering for next year and other events wink Its just a shame that people had to be turned away this year as the public would have got to see even more cars! There certainly seems to be enough space in the grounds of Wilton so Im not sure why more cars could not be included? Maybe its something to do with insurance or something, not sure?

Wow, Great day. Bigger than ever! The only down side was having to get up this morning at 4.30! Still only just made Regents park in the nick of time! London was a nightmare frown

I almost got the prize for the loudest car but some old Red Enzo Beat me by one Decibel frown
