Hi,

Who do you guys recommend for windscreen replacement on an SRT/10? I think its bonded in, so a bit of a job. Is it just a job for Autoglass or are their other specialists?

Also will it be as good a new once replaced? Ive heard (on certain other high performance vehicles) that it is "never the same again" once replaced..

You can get an independent fitter to fit the new screen but your insurance company may not pay out. Check your policy first to find out if your covered.

The choice, or preference, should be yours.

If your insurer has a nominated supplier, they may well insist/steer you into using that repairer. But they would be being sensible if you were to put forward your reasons why you would want your investment looked after by a noted or recommended specialist.
