Poss trackday in August at Blyton @ £90

would the viper guys n gals be interested in sharing a track weekend on 20/21 August with the GT4 OC (celicas)? i am part of their club still and they have the new Blyton track booked for both days for circa £150 or a one day at circa £90. slightly light on numbers at the minute and i suggested they open it up to some of the other clubs if need be, which they are looking at.

there is camping etc being organised as they make a good weekend of it.
this is just a toe in water to see if another club might be interested in a few places etc on a cracking track weekend.
its run at cost only using Javellin for the track marshalling etc, so its well run

at the minute there are no noise probs at blyton and not much testing if any. have been twice without seeing any testing. nice article on blyton also in new track driver magazine that landed today.

i've asked the gt4 OC tonight if they can confirm what places might be available etc, i think they have 36 cars and need 50 or so over 2 days at least to break even.

105db is being advertised at blyton but i dont think its being enforced as such. i've just repacked my zausts and mine is about that anyway, but wasnt tested there and there were much louder cars than mine out.

looks like they are doing the day at £90 but its £20 additional for non club members, making it £110 total, so saving £20 on a regular price day there

bit of an update and not good news, the club has pulled the plug on a full weekend unfortunately. 24 cars will be going on track there tho on the 20th Aug with javelin, i am going to see if it is japanese cars only with them or open to all.
