Hey All,

Had my '97 GTS on a dyno today and got some interesting figures from it. Car is standardish, upgrades are a K&N induction kit, SVS Headers and a custom stainless exhaust system with Hi-Flo Cats.

Figures I got were 470bhp at the clutch, 450bhp at the wheels and a lovely 560ft/lbs torque. Quite happy with that, although it would have been nice to see 500bhp at the clutch.

Oh well, more work to do to!

Hmm strange - 450 at the wheels should be more 510 at the crank, assuming 13% drivetrain loss

What dyno did you use losses should be between 13 and 15%, the losses seem a bit low.

Used a Dynojet rolling road. With the experience you guys have, what would you say is the more accurate figure, 470 clutch or 450 wheels with the upgrades i've got?

with the dyno day we did a few years back it seemed to be about 15 to 20% less mine was 478 and 399 at the wheels
