... Viper Owners Meeting.
We are on our way to MONACO, Monte Carlo, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of VOI-ZERO at Tremazzo, Lago Como, Italy, tomorrow.
Drew, Markus and Pat will be celebrating in Europe and we hope that many Viper people will be celebrating in the U.S.A. too. We are ready for at least 20 more years of great Vipers.
Markus (ViperGTS) and Pat (VardaMan).
P.S.: Pat was there 20 years ago and he is here with us today for this major celebration. We wish all of you many more happy years with your Vipers.
On May 25,1991, the very first ever to be held, Viper "Prospective" Owners Event was held in Indianapolis. Since the Viper was the pace car for the 1991 Indy 500 Race, Dodge invited 50 prospective owners to be their guests for the race. This included a very special meeting where our Viper legends; Father Roy, Tom, Marty and Carroll presented the 1992 Viper to us and shared all of the available details about the Viper. My visit to the track provided me with my first view of a real Viper since the 1989 Auto Show. The Viper Pace Car was parked in a garage in Gasoline Alley and the back-up Viper Pace Car was on display in a special Dodge display tent.
I just want to thank all of the folks at Dodge for the GREAT Viper introduction that they provided back in 1991, along with the following 20 years of GREAT Vipers and GREAT Viper friendships.
It's been a GREAT ride with more miles to come!
Pat
