Who's up for a Trackday then?
A few of us I think......
And June/July looks like a maybe?
Any ideas?

I'll start the ball rolling:-
1) Silverstone's pretty central - they do track days for £229 - Sat 18th Jun or Fri 15th Jul - 105dB limit
2) Bedford Autodrome's also central - ClubMSV - they've got a track day on £179 – Mon 27th Jun – 101dB
3) Snetterton - not too central but worth mentioning - ClubMSV - £189 – Wed 22nd Jun or Wed 13th Jul - 105dB
Any other ideas?

Agree, Blyton look nice but a little too far North (thanks for the contribution Chris, much appreciated).As for Spa - that looks fab too but I was thinking 'something central UK for the day' not Central Europe for 3 days.
Saving the Euro trip for Germany in August.
Looks like Silverstone's the most popular so I'll give them a call and see what's on offer.

Go on you know you want to Okay, an update after speaking to a Silverstone rep today:-
Firstly, the price……. it’s £299, not £229 as posted above – either this detail has been changed recently or I was suffering with ‘too much beer’ on Monday - whatever…..
Whilst I appreciate this change might put a few off, I am able to get a 10% discount based on 5 or more of use doing a block booking – that would mean ‘one’ of us booking on the group’s behalf. I’m happy to do that but I’ll need spondoolies up front.
Don’t say you’ll come if you not prepared to send me the money to pay on your behalf.
My personal feeling is that it’s a great venue and worth doing – at least once anyway.
In summary, this is what’s on offer:-
It’s a brand new venue at the Southern circuit (to be called the International Circuit) using new paddocks and pit lane – look at the website http://www.silverstone.co.uk/track/circuit-maps/ and it’s the southern circuit you’re interested in.
We’ll be fed breakfast and lunch and refreshments – if you wanna continue driving during lunch, you can cos they won’t stop play for lunch.
FREE non-driving guest – a good excuse for others in our group to come that can’t drive with noisier motors.
There’s a drivers clinic to talk about driving techniques etc – complimentary driver instructions for first few laps.
Track length is 1.7miles
48 cars on track at any one time.
What I need to know now is ‘who’ and on ‘what’ day?

If you can do both days, say so.
If you’re not interested because it’s too expensive, say so and we’ll look at Bedford.
