Am I right in thinking that on a 94 RT/10 you just turn the bulbs around 180 degrees for European driving?

Anybody know where to get a new Battery - just tried US Automotive but they say another 2-3 months having just had a shipment in!

Thanks

there are 4 screws you loosen, probably too much so they fall out! then you turn the whole projector about 5 degrees, it turns the diagonal beam into a flat beam, well that's gen 2 anyway.

Does the European mode improve the candle output any?

same output, no changes to the masking, its all just rotated slightly to put the beam high to the left and low to the right. I though that there was more useful light in the flat patten though.

But then beam alignment can play a huge part in how you feel they are lighting up the road. ie aimed low you may light up the road 20ft in front of you real nice and think they are real good but you cant see something at 21 feet, but slightly higher you light up things further down the road but they dont feel as bright because your not getting the bright feedback. Too high and pilots start complaining.

easy check is against the garage door, supposedly if they are correct you can back up and the line should stay at the same height (assuming a flat level drive) a proper check involves a tape measure and some sticky tape to mark the key points on the door, but even that's not hard to do.

I'm not convinced it doesn't have more to do with age and deterioration of the bulbs and oxidisation of the lenses and reflectors. Every new car i have driven has had nice bright headlights from new, a few years down the road and I'm complaining they are crap.

Obviously HID's are night and day, quite literally sometimes.

Thanks Dr Bob / Mich.

Local Chrysler dealer in Colchester say they can get one. If not I'll follow up with these.
