There's a little smack talk going on here http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0... between the Ford Lightning/HD and the SRT10 Ram.

Who's fastest over the 1/4 mile?

Personally, I've never seen one at the track but would love to race some of you.

So, if anyone is up to the Ford Vs Dodge Pick Up Truck challenge, why not come along to Gary's Picnic at the end of the month and settle the argument.

Ive been at Wings and Wheels day at Dunsfold the last couple of years, there's a chap who turns up there with a Ram SRT10 and sprints it up the runway, I believe its Supercharged too

Actually, no, not in 2011.

There was one turned up to the 2012 meet though. Can't remember the gents name but it was his first time at the strip and was the manual box version.

He ran a 14. something a few times which may not be representative of what the SRT10 Truck is capable of but of course, it got nowhere near the fast Fords

The offer from Rebel V8 still stands though for any rwyb. We want to race your truck, drink tea and enjoy the craic.
