Nice little custom made disk, well chuffed with the result.

And after all my chums giving me a hard time about the size of me "Rear" I added some nice little carbon lights and numberplate to tidy it up a bit!

Nice chicken strips mate

Sorry, what were we meant to be looking at

In all seriousness, very tasty. Do you not get MOT problems with a brake disk like that ?? sharp edges etc

Thats Goereous mate.

I was also wondering if that was MOT-able with a spinning rip saw on the back of your bike.

Nothing wrong with the buell I think its a stunning bike.

If the disk were on the other way, or if the wheel were spinning in the other direction, id guess you might have problems with sharp edges - as it is, if your leg were to clout the disk, it wouldnt take a chunk out of it.

Stevie,

It won't slide unless you've on the gas hard... Look at the lean angle of most couriers who are on the hardest most durable tyres they can get their (dirty) paws on!!!

Very nice machine! don't worry about anyone taking the piss about chicken strips - that doesn't *Actually* indicate cornering speed... 'cos as you all know, keeping the bike as upright as possible lets you get the power on harder. Just hang off a bit. Anyway, I never had problems removing the strips, but the latest bike seems to turn pretty fast & still leave unused rubber. Guess that's 160's for you. Less lean than a 180 for the same speed..

Herts,

I'm a new biker with an early CBR600 (jellymould shape!). I've been riding since last Sept (about 6000 miles so far), and have about chicken strips of 1cm on my 130 back tyre - so the thinner the tyre the harder to use all of the tyre? Does this mean I'm progressing ok then?
