damn tried a more challenging road for my second ride.

Rubbish again I could have walked faster was hogging teh front brake again like I did after I first passed.

And was only giving it about 1 handful when before I would have easily gone back to the stop

Lets hope cadwell sorts me out!

Oh and now I got new tyre so I got massive chicken strips again they had completely gone on the last tyre bah

went out again today and was much better. But still rubish

no chicken strip left on right hand side of tyre but still on left

The speed of the thing is catching me out. I never had that problem before falling off must have affected me sub consiously Having said that i hadnt ridden it since I fell off last year so I expected to be rusty

Damn.

I am going to cadwell on 3rd of may. I think at least 4 other PHers are going as well.

A call for a ride out indeed, after a particularly pleasing lunchtime hoon I'm ready for anything

Although the chicken strips (even small as they are) are a mite embarassing

Minimotos are a less saddo way to have non virgin sliders I've had my right knee down on a minimoto & got my left down a few times- but I was always mid crash at that point!

Yes I admit it I am indeed woeful on minimotos, how can some one with my length legs not be knee down almost all the time on them!

it's not getting your knee down that counts, it's how fast you go round the track. Sometimes, trying to get the old knee on the deck means you take wierd lines just to allow you to do this. Who cares? Just get round as fast as poss without highsiding/crashing!!!

I'm fully aware how childish it is, I just want a few scrapes on the sliders. Just one of the things on my pointless things I want to do list

Ive never done it on a 'real' bike either Ben, well except when ive been mid crash!

Its not that I dont get it over far enough, as ive ground away foot pegs mean ive had it a fair way over, just that I don't go bunging my knee out, I guess I could have done it on my RVF if I'd really wanted to, but after shoveing it down the road once I guess I never really had the nerve to push it that hard again.

Must admit I would like to do it on track just a couple of times for the mere hell of it.

Bah, you're not as rubbish as me. Have got the bike in for it's MOT today. I've got a horrible feeling it's going to need 2 new tyres and an exhaust

Hopefully the dodgy cornering is more down to the knacked front tyre than my lack of riding ability?

I would be up for a rideout in Sussex somewhere btw.

...once the MOT has been passed.

bah thats nothing do that all the time. Back wheel locked up due to crap down change going into corner has back wheel sliding. and back wheel going sideways going out of corner due to crap throttle control!

Also as for the knee sliding. Because I havnt been hanging off the bike I lean it over more than most which means its my elbow which hits the ground before my knees
Need to sort that out
