Bike Covers- Which One?
Discussion
I bought one for £60 about 6 yrs ago that was suposed to be the mutts nuts, it wasnt. It let in water and was generally poor. A guy i used to work with swore by (not over!) one from argos for a £5 and just threw it away a yr later. I'm sure there are better ones than the cover i bought, personally i'll be going to agros next time!

Oxford do a lovely fleece lined one - that you could sleep if you wanted - which has a tear resistant cordura (?) skin. It retails for about £50 and will protect the bike froms scratches, etc.
Alternatively, if you look in the back of any classic car mag, you can probably get one of the companies that make car covers to knock one up for 20 quid. Try M&P (swansea), or Demon thieves (demon tweeks)...

Just to add, that although i dont have a Busters bike cover (i use an old plastic car cover), i have used Busters on a couple of occasions and think theyre absolutely fantastic - one order even arrived within 22 hours of ordering, even though i only paid for cheapo 7 day delivery.
Top chaps - recommended.

My other half has made over 30 covers for use on bikes in the garage. They are lycra/elastane (the stuff swimming costumes are made of), stretch to fit the bike, are washable, coloured to match the bike (if required) and reach down to the floor. They can be put straight on the bike as you switch off the engine, but you need to keep them off the engine, until its cooled. The exhausts generally cool quite quickly. I'm trying to badger her into making one for our TVR.
