Interested to hear running cost experiences for the T595. I know how well they go,sound & handle already!

Buddy of mine is contemplating selling his (for a very reasonable price) and ive always liked the bike, so its got the old grey matter churning!

The only things that are really putting me off are the likely running costs & reliability vs somthing of a similar age & Jap.

Am on my 2nd 955 - 6000mile serice intervals, apart from that, costs the same as other bikes.. never had any real problems. New rear every 2-3000miles.

I would recomend it - tis different to all the Jap/Italian stuff out there!

I believe the insurance rating is lower (cheaper) than the Jap bikes of same size/performance.

Cheers again fellows.

Insurance really did suprise me with its cheapness- like my trusty old Bandit PLUS T595 on the same policy under £300!! (think it was £278) TPFT.
It seemed so cheap I had to double check to make sure they realised it was not actually a 595cc!!

The advantages of getting older 'eh

Dunno if he's gunna sell it now, but if he does I'll bag it.

On my second Speed Triple, and both were utterly reliable for over 30k combined miles (I trashed the first one launching over a car). Most recent insurance renewal - £200, including commuting into London every day! Only unexpected costs were fuel filter & injectors after, err, filling up with diesel once . Otherwise, just tyres & pads & servicing.
