IAM and cans

Question for you good people. I'm off to my local IAM meet tonight and I'm wondering how my aftermarket can will be perceived - am I likely to cop a load of flack for this?

They shouldn't. You will probably find quite a few more there with noisy cans as well. Certainly as an examiner I wouldn't be bothered about the can!
