no connection, but just sorted me out brill.
riders choice insurance
0121 384 9201

free UK+euro breakdown cover, leather cover (3rd party) and legal cover, £200 cheaper than anyone else, £800 cheaper than the likes of carol nash.. They even rang back after getting the deal signed and delivered, to tell me they had found another one even cheaper! so it was swapped...

virgin bikes insurance came a close second.

That reminds me mines due next month, I'll give them a try
Just tried Bennetts (I know some people on here don't like them) and they have come up with........
£107.10 for the Cagiva and......
£132.32 for a 600 Bandit
Both TPFT with a £250 excess and no security

********no connection*********

Just been quoted £250.00 F/C inc. protected NCB with unlimited mileage by the new Honda insurance scheme (0870 0780102).......£100 less than Devitts (who last year were £200 less than Bennetts) for the Blade

I just tried riders choice and they couldn't get anywhere near the quotes i've already had. So didn'twork for me. Obviously varies from bike to bike etc.

Cheapest ive had so far was £435 TPFT on my first bike, a Bandit6.

That was with Adrian Flux - the only other people ive tried so far are Bennetts.

Cheapest I've had so far (on 2004 Fazer 600) is:

TPF&T 209.09 MCE
Fully Comp: 450 through Yamaha, of all places! MCE were only fractionally more expensive and had less excess to pay if I bin it.

But I'm just over 30 years of age, so I'm in a better bracket than you probably are Dave.

I use Carole Nash for all my bikes, they're not that cheap but the service is first rate...

Hows that then?
I was quoted over £1000TPFT on the 125 that i have.
ok so i don't have any NCB. But i even re-stricted the milage to 5000 a year.
My best quote was from Hasting at just over £300TPFT.

I think I paid about £140 this year, I had a full licence (Direct Access) had that a year before buying a bike TPF&T, bike garaged, over 30, full car NCB, don't remember putting a mileage limit but gone for 6000 this year, SDP&Commute cover, I guess I'm just a good risk can't seem to get it under the £100 mark though, and £132 for the Bandit with 1 years NCB is a bargin, but I'm still trying for cheaper quotes

Im 22, 2yrs Car NCB but no bike license as yet, so the Bandit really would be my first bike. It wouldnt be garaged, just sat on my driveway, but in a reasonably nice area of the countryside.

Sounds a good deal stooz. Will give em a try in May. I did see that Honda are offering insurance now (MCN today) which if cheap enough may swing it for a new CBR600RR Hmmmmm..........I got TPFT last yr on my R6 for £270 which was the cheapest by £200.
