Fancy a new bike... had a blade in the past... and an 888 for a few years. Fed up with unreliability.... don't need the fastest bike on the block anymore. Any reports on the 900 Hornet?

I want something that's fun and a bit posey.... thinking bellypan, polished wheels and renthals... just like my LC from the 80's!!

I've got a friend with a 900 Hornet and he absolutely loves it!

It's a grunty little thing with plenty of torque so it's good for wheelies and the upright riding position makes it very comfortable and good for a bit of stunting.

The only problem my friend has is ground clearance as he grinds the hell out of the pegs on roundabouts, and this has caused him to go down on one occasion. Maybe some kind of jack-up plates are the answer there, but possibly a little tricky as the passenger pegs are all part of the same unit and we've not seen any for this bike yet.

My friend gets his knee down on it no problem at all. It's bloody scary to see the way he throws that thing around!

He dosen't hang off that much though so he also has the peg and rear brake lever down at the same time. Loads of sparks so it looks good
