Well, the Tiv had to go to make way for the rather large double garage (and the bloody kitchen that Mrs Inc wants) so it's time to wheel out the old ZX6

Hope to see some of you PH bikers out this summer

Did someone mention track days

Incorrigable...

My plan is to try and get 5-1o bikerbanker PH'ers out on a track day. If we try and make the first one (?!) around late april / early may, that should leave enough time to get organised and also enough time for a few more if the first goes well. If we aim for a midlands based track it makes it easier for most people to travel to.

Post your response on the trackday thread so I can guage interest.

Thanks

Ferg

To think I thought you'd hung up your leathers. Good riding mate.

Watch out for a green menace on the next Surrey run

We won't see which way it went with you on board mate! Have to confess that I've always thought a bullet camera below the fairing and a camcorder in the tankbag would make for an interesting view of a run in action.

There is indeed a Surrey Run, the next one will be number 6. We only ever had one biker join us in the past, on run 1 or 2, on a TL thou (can't remember which variant). He might have been a mate Ben's? I think he found it a bit pedestrian though.

It was a TL, it was a mate of mine

Steve, do you think it would be OK if a few more bikes turned up

AJ, The Surrey runs are a pretty leisurely jaunt, the films are quite entertaining though there are so many tvrs the soundtrack is superb

I'm not really sure I'm the man to ask, but then who is given the event is just an informal get together. One thing's for sure, if bikes are mixing with cars, everyone needs to be doubly careful to make proper observations that day.

I'd hope that everyone was going to be very observant as part of the "normal" high standard of PH drivers?!

I do take your point Carl, but I meant that if more attention is focussed on one aspect of driving, because you're 'making progress' then other aspects can suffer. Also, bikes tend to get clear of cars not run with them in normal conditions, so this may not be something people are used to.

We're the other way round. Since we got the Griff, we've hardly been out on the bikes (XJR1300SP and ZRX1100).
