I think the 2 stroke screamer going to need some new boots for it's MOT
Now I have no idea on bike tyres what are good, what are pants, what a decent price is going to be so any info would be handy
The sizes I'm going to be after are....
Front.....110/70/17
Rear......150/60/17 (I think)
The bike gets used any weather so no supersticky road legal slicks and the top speed is only about 90mph so the speed ratings shouldn't be an issue
Oh and I'm planning on getting rid of the bike (to get something faster) soon after the MOT so I don't want to spend a fortune

go to a breakers yard if you're going to get rid soon and see what they have in your size - you're probably looking at a tenner a tyre. You can visually inspect them for tread, wear, sidewalls bulges, etc...

Micheldever tyres were very good on price when I used them. Even if you don't go there, their price will give you can indication of what you ought to pay. They gave FWR - allegedly the UKs cheapest tyres - a good kicking pricewise (to the tune of £30).
