I shall certainly keep an eye open. You might like to give Bike Trader or MCN a try (out every Weds) as there's often at least one in there for sale...(I know 'cos I have been tempted recently to get another....but opted for a Blackbird instead).
when I origianlly bought one, back in the 80's I had read the review of it in some bike mag which said
'For serious adrenalin freaks and frontal labotomy cases only', that was the clincher for me ;-p

I had a Stan Stephens tuned one and loved it - but it blew up with depressing regularity and I became expert at doing top end overhauls myself.
I think you'd be very lucky to find one that hasn't been abused (there was a major cottage industry of self-appointed "expert tuners" who in truth were blokes in lock-up garages with a couple of files and a welding torch). The rotary valve made them less tuneable than the RD500LC, which had reed valve induction and arrived in a far lower state of tune. Your best bet is probably just to keep an eye on MCN.
