Not posted on this forum before, but have owned 20+ bikes last one being an R1. Bad back so TVR now.
Anyway..they seem to have missed Mr Hodgson's gong? Doesn't winning the world superbike title warrant this?
If they can give Tim Henman one then..???

Err i,m famous me, and iv'e made a fortune out of (insert whatever sport you like etc) and I REALLY deserve another award!!!!!!!!!! Kiss my

Give these awards to those who actually deserve them. People who have helped others, put their lives on the line to save others etc etc Christ's sake it wasn't that long ago when OBE meant Other buggers efforts and MBE meant My bloody efforts, but we can't have class distinctions in our totally PC world now can we?

I'm a millionaire and iv'e made millions out of what i'm talented at - Tough titty, piss of ya rich clod.

I'm skint and I spend my time and what little money I have helping others get through their lives - Deserving of an award!!!!!!!!!!

Wolf, the whole point of the honours system is to honour success.

Why is it that some people find that threatening? That someone has made millions doing what they do implies that they are good at it, that they have drive, determination and ambition.

And your response? "Piss off you rich clot"?

Gimme a break.

The honours system was to honour those who had sacrificed for the sake of others and other just cases.
All it has become now is another popularity come tv type awards event. Degrades the awards given to those who actually deserve them.

P.S. It was CLOD not clot! Look it up.
