I dont believe it. Another 3 bl**dy points on my licence and £60 into the police bar fund. I am so sick of these speed cameras, 40 mph in a 30.

Gutted mate, everytime I open one of those brown envelopes I get a sinkling feeling. I also got done 40 in a 30 last year. What a load of shit. At least give me something to be proud of,

Cheers Chaps. Thought i only had 3 points left but it seems 3 are due to be off as 3 now go back on! Totally gutted, the thought of my next insurance quote

It was in sunningdale james. I've been caught there before and it was in my pickup. Me thinks i need a radar now.

The MD of the company i contract too, in not so many words has said 'loose your licence and theres no work' which i thought was a nice touch on the day i received the notice.

What a complete t*&ser, excuse my French!! I know that camera, is it the one just after the station going towards Egham?

I was in the Exchequers pub opposite last week watching the poofball and getting rather inebriated.

I got my points through recently, I managed four years without any, tainted with the SP30 brush again now. Roll on four years time.

(AJ - Its not bad considering all the speeds reached throughout the summer on the two wheeled format!! It could be a lot worse)

Congrats AJ

Nah, seriously though- what a shitter. Laughed out loud when I read your 'a nice touch' comment.

I know this is gonna curse it, but as I sit here- the owner of a GSXR600 and ex TVR Tuscan owner, 23 year old male...my licence is virgin white with not a point or ban to be seen.

Disgraceful really, innit?

This could, of course all change if the Police do try and shaft me for that little wheelie in Guildford

Nut aka James#1,

Havent you heard anything back from the 'its a unicycle, honest!' incident yet? That was some time ago now.

Have you sold on the Tuscan? What 4-wheeled delight have you decided to replace such a beast?

Cheers

Now i feel i can justify all those points i have, being a couple of (cough) years older.

Sorry to say its a matter of time old son, especially if we have a few more early runs next yr!!!

I'm now looking at radars which i can swap between bike and car. Any ideas anyone?

Den,

Can you still buy flip plates? I could only find these advertised in the US magazines, they have since disappeared from the UK. Can you still order them over here?

On the same note, does anybody use a Road-Angel on their bike? Any good??

James#2,

I only agreed with the garage a couple of months ago that they would give me a full refund on the Tuscan- one of the pistons let go and the engine was sent back to the factory for a rebuild and I was without it for 7 weeks...although saying that they did give me a brand new Tamora to run around in.

I mean, you buy a 190 mph car- you expect it to be able to handle 180mph down the A3, wouldn't you. Obviously not if it comes from Blackpool.

Before the Tuscan I had a Chimaera, which was lovely and I shouldn't have got rid. No problems with that one.

Decided I didn't need a car like that for a 1.5 mile journey to work and back either. Bought an MR2 turbo for 1/10th the cost and it goes sideways, just no where near as fun/fast/headturning etc.

Oh well.

Still no word from Plod ref the wheelie- that was 3 months ago now...

Nut,

We test drove a Chim 450 and a Cerb Speed Six before commiting to the M3EVO two years ago. I was well impressed with the performance. The Cerb was a physical workout to drive! However, I could not justify the overall running costs (maybe the Rover V8 Chim wouldnt have been too bad) anyway the BM wasnt that far off the pace in everyday situations. Unfortunately it just sat in the garage when my company car came; hence the return to biking with the Duke.

Oh yeah, did Ben drive your MR2? Just read a post on motopsycosis?

DOH!

PS. Are you guys doing any winter riding or are the Gixxers tucked up until next year?

Yeah, Ben drove it...!

Was bugger all he could have done though, the thing just flicked nastily and sent us into the barriers!

Still, the MR2's got a distinctive modified look now that any banger racer would be proud of.

Points wise... Nut, just wait until a shade under 6 months for the letter to drop on the doormat and hey presto, you're 3 points closer to the nice fake crystal glass set. Mmm.

I think I've got 6 points at the moment, but 3 come off soon so it's not too bad.

Took the Duke out for a whizz on Sunday as it was dry. Just went down to the BP in Bagshot to fill up. On the way home went down a lovely NSL and decided it was time for some winter wheelie practice. All went well with some off the throttle front end activity until I got cramp in my left hip. Damn this mortal coil that I have been allocated, Bloody cold and I'm getting old!!
My hip is aching still today. :mustdomoreexercise:

Did the same with the R6. Fantastic.

AJ

p.s. I've got a clothes horse which doubles as a exercise cycle if you need one! I was going to say you have a woman so you should have plenty of exercise but then i remembered you're married. Enough said.
