Had a bit of a worry the other week, the day we put the clocks back actually, as it was the 1st time I'd really rode in the dark, riding home from work I had the thought, what happens if my rear bulb's out, I can't see it and theres only one so if it blows and someone drives into the back of me I wouldn't have a leg to stand on, in both ways
Anyway I get home and what do you think I find, no back light, and just for good measure, no brake light either So new bulb in and I'm happy again, then a few days ago racegirl was following my home and tells me my back lights flashing on and off when I bounce over bumps, so I have a tweak and it seems fine, then you get to work and find it's off again, then it works, then it doesn't
Well, anyway had it in pieces over the weekend and now it seems fine :fingerscrossedsmiley: but does anyone have a back-up light, like a battery powered pushbike light on the back of their ride?
I could carry a spare bulb, but this doesn't help if it's a dodgy Italian not liking the rain wiring problem

........next to my tyre repair gas cylinder thing, and a disc lock.
Arrr now you've got me worrying about something else, what happens if I get a flat the disc lock is tie-wrapped to the frame, and there isn't exactly any underseat storage, the only thing under the seat is the rear wheel
you worry too much!
the gas clyinder things are real emergency stuff. It would take longer for me to get the wheel out and repair it, than it would be to call the RAC..
I keep it for when I do soooper long trips and have no idea where a local tyre fitter might be or where RAC cant reach.. Like mid pyranees..

I've had problems in the past with rear bulbs blowing in very short order. I'm not sure if it was caused by vibration or spiky voltage, but I found the best way round it was to wire in a red LED array that I got from Maplins for about £5.
dangerous territory, pimping up a 125 cagiva.. isnt that a bit like blue washer bulbs on a nova?

You want to see my indicator, remember a while back one of the orange plastics fell off, well I was on the way to the bottle bank and saw the aftermath of a coming together of 2 cars, anyway, one piece of broken car indicator lens, the hacksaw, and some gaffer tape later, problem solved
Do you sell those neon valve caps yet?
