As some of you may know i was involved in a bike accident on monday. A little girl decided to runinto the side of my bike and flip me over.
Because of this i now need a new jacket as the one that i have it torn to shreads and i don't think that this will protect me again when i come off.
So as i am going to the bike show next week i will be looking around for a new leather jacket that will keep me warm and hopefully my body and arms safe from sliding across the floor.
Thing is as there are sooooo many different makes out there i really don't know where to start looking or what make is better than the next.
I would like one with protection in the elbows and shoulders, but don't really want to spend a packet (hence why im going to try and find a bargin at the show)
But can anyone recommend a good jacket that i should be looking out for?
I don't really want to go to the show only to buy a leather jacket only to find that its a pile of dog poo that wont protect and mole let alone me.

Thanks

I've been looking for the same sort of jacket with a built in back protector too. I've seen a joe sprocket one for £199 with all the right stuff, otherwise i guess its a case of looking for stuff like good quality leather, good stiching, protection which looks substancial. Thats what i'm doing. Good luck.

Its a textil jacket, so i think its time for a leather one.
