Failed Direct Access, this is really starting to get on my chuddies,i forgot to cancel a f'ing indicator, aaaaaaahhhhhhhh, first time i think i've forgotten to do it,would be nice if there was a big ben type dong while the bloody things flashing, can't believe it,one fault on the whole damn test,i need to do this just one more time, excuse me,aaaaahhhhh!:-)Re-test 5th December,it'll be typical of me to sail through it in 2 feet of snow, anyway, there's always my exciting Peugeot 306 to keep the adrenalin pumping in the meantime;-)

bugger!! sorry to here that rumpel Stilts.

I have to say it again, its a bit harsh not cancelling is a instant fail, a "bad warning, no other problems allowed" would be safer.

I went out 2 weeks ago wit a pile of advanced riders, and I got fed up of trying to tell them to cancel their 'cators. They were the worst Ive ever seen for it.
several went past roundabouts indicating left, but went straight on... there were cars waiting to pull out, and it would have been a mess if they truted the signalling!!

Best of luck for the 5th
(hint: just keep pressing cancel every 5 seconds throught the entire test, cant compete with un-concentrated habits!!)

How much is the direct test?
And can this be done from a CBT level?

most training firms will get you from basic to test, including test and bike hire for £500.

Im assuming rumpel will just take the test again for £40, but if he needs the training centres' bike, they will thow in an hour "warmup" for £100 with test.

d3eano,

I see you live quite near to me.
I did my direct access from CBT with this lot who were ok.

www.webcity.co.uk/matchless/advanced.htm

they'll gve you a free assessment ride then tell you how much training they think you require. If you go with their recomendation and fail you only need to pay bike hire for additional training

Hard luck mate but keep at it - you will get there.

If I can get through it, anyone can!
