Hi Stooz, Badapple. Thanks for the notice. I got a letter through from Triumph last week about this and will hopefully get the fix applied to my bike some time this week. Fortunately, it doesn't look like it'll be catastrophic if the problem manifests itself in the meantime, which is nice...

Just in case anyone is interested, I have now done about 1900 miles and the bike feels much better than when new. Looser and more powerful. Plus you can wheelie on the power in first, which is always a good thing. Will get round to trying second gear at some point.
