Ideas welcome

1)fix my bike up and keep it.(+ realativly better car)

2)fix my bike and sell it. buy a new one (R1,GSXR-1000)

3)keep my bike dont fix it buy a trailer and use it for track days.Buy a new one for the road(R1,GSXR-1000).

I cash available to do any of the above thanks to selling under performing endowments. She thinks It going into paying the new mortgage She really ought to pay more attention

4)keep bike repair over time and buy a lot nicer car realtivy. Currently thinking 964 or M-coupe*

*note this option is just me dreaming again. I am just realy fed up of walking out of the house and seeing a fecking diesel vetra. My heart sinks every time. no matter if I'm in a good mood as soon as i see it Im fed up instantly.
It is theoreticaly possible with a small loan and not eating or buying Christmas presents for the kids ever.

either 1 or 3. then I can either repair the bodywork for you or paint your track plastics. Either way I will have some work

Pesty, I'd go for a flavour of number 3 - but get a couple of biking mates to go in with you.

I am close to doing the same with a few mates. Our plan is to get 2 track bikes and run them between 3 or 4 of us. We all chip into a pot for general wear and tear (tyres, brakes etc) and then it works on a "you crash it - you fix it" basis.

We've already got a GSX-R600 which one of the lads crashed but can't affort to get mint again, but which doesn't need that much work to get it track-worthy. Looking for an R1 also.
