Bike shop in the City

Hi all,

I need to buy a helmet for an up-coming trackday. Does anyone know of a decent bike shop in the City, preferably near Liverpool Street?

The nearest shop is probably the london aprilla centre over the otherside of Bishopsgate towards brick lane. Or you could venture further afield towards cannon street, where you'll find Metropolis under the arches near the old LIFFE floor (down the side of cannon st. station).

Neither has a massive range, and tend to sell to 'all the gear, no idea' types..... if you need a lid though...

I popped down to Metropolis a few days ago and it has closed down. The Aprilia Center seesm to be your best bet. Not a great selection but they do seem to give discounts if you ask... The best place within a sensible distance is Sondel Sports up in Islington (Highbury Corner). Bit of a treck from the City but they have a huge selection of lids.
