Ben & Nut

Have fun next weekend woncha - take care on the roads round there - they are awesome - but sometimes hold a few surprises look out for the cut out little black stick men with blood or red scarves painted on their heads on the side of the roads..... they signify fatalities apparently

The track is great - the concrete wall with gym mats stuck to it is a little concerning first time you see it - the left hand hairpin is off camber & can catch you (or your pegs) out lol - back straight is just full throttle - yeee haaaa

Have fun, stay in one piece & let us know when you get back ok - and if you are out for a (local) beer on Friday.

I'll have Nut, Trev and Andy, not to mention numerous others flying past then. Gulp.

I think the plan is bar 36 once again. It'll be Nut, Trev, Andy and my good-self. Should be a laugh. Come on down. It'll be a top comedy banter night.

re: the trip. If we don't have 1 photo where 3 of us are on the back wheel, I'll be disappointed.

AJ's got the hang of it. Ben is also partial to those gay stick on ears, tiger pattern is his favourite at the moment.

We're out in Town on Friday, will you be around mate?

I could handle the "rides like a girl" comment, but the stick on ears? That's below the belt.

I ride like Katja Poensgen.

Anyhow, Nutcase would get his knee down, but his stabilisers interfere with lean angle.

For the record, it was 'Whippety Whip'...which is even worse.

Gosh, old 'captain high-side' always gets defensive about his Tiger Ears.

Look at him carrying on about stabilisers- I did apologise for accidentally getting his bike out of the garage (fitted with Stabilisers) instead of mine, but they're so difficult to tell apart. I now just check that the one I get on hasn't got a smashed-up rear end and doesn't have a five foot-square numberplate

And as for you blade-bird, I wouldn't even start. We might mention grip warmers

I happen to be very proud of my heated handlebar grips, not to mention my 'Hello Kitty' and 'Princess' stickers - I think they all add a certain raw edge to my bike - and undoubtedly make it go faster

"raw edge" huh ?..........hmmmmmmmmmm

Nutcase,

Would have come out friday but up in town, mates birthday, ta for the invite though.

Re Bennys ears, if you give him too much of a complex he'll try to prove how useful they are. Hear of knee down, elbow, down next it'll be ear down!!!

Saw a good pic on minitwins of elbow down, to be honest looks like hes going to loose it!! No i'll not having a dig Ben!!!

You chaps have Fun on your mega track day/s. Did brands yesterday. Intermediates were over booked so ened up in the novices......Aaaaarrrrhhhh. Still managed to get some 56's in that was being held up by slower riders in places......one hand behind my back, in sandles and smoking a cigar!!

Ach, well it's all handbags at dawn now, so rather than continue I'll just say "I'm the racer"! Bo!

AJ, well played chap. 56's with traffic eh. Not bad. We'll have to get you into fast group over the winter period for another go.

I saw the elbow down pic on the SV site. Did you see the pic afterwards where the guy had lowsided and spun round? Good lad for trying though.

Ben, only joking old son! With regard to the 'i'm a racer' comment... so thats what you call it is it!? We thought it was a parade. Nutcase and i were thinking a wicker basket would look good on the front of the sv!

Didnt see the next photo just looked at the one, to be honest looking at it though it was going to happen wasnt it? I mean it looked like he was virtually off the tyre tread and all was down bar his head! The only thing that looked like he was actually controlling it was he was still looking out of the corner! V good effort though! Yep up for some fast fun on track! I'm going to get a lap timer me thinks.
