Blimey!!! you sweet talker you women today are just so forceful, please be gentle with me
So VXTurbo or S2000?? tough choice, I love the S2000 but never driven a VX tho, mind you i will only try & talk you into somthing older & Porsche flavored so best not listen to me anyway
Although the RX8 is a great car (alleged to be a fantastic handler) I think it will plummet in value like all the wankel engined mazdas have done over the years.
I still think the S2k is the car that will be most enjoyable and will piss you off the least. i.e. it's a honda and thus will run flawlessly whereas the vx is a little highly strung and will rattle and hum and eventually be annoying when you want it to be cosseting.
Also, note that you can get Porsche Boxters for 19k now on an R plate. Insurance is probably ridiculous though. You'd still have to stretch to around 23k for the 'S' version (bigger engine, more power but wahey! ).
The choice is yours
PS Can I have a go when you get your VX/S2K/Porsche???
