Just ordered a load of Brochures from Triumph at the beginnning of last week and the New 2004 Brochures arrived yesterday, included was the range sheet (big huge fold out thing) for Sports bikes and tourers. On the back, was a bike calling itself the Rocket 3. A 3 Cylinder engine, with an exhaust for each cylinder. Simply because it is a 2.3 Litre engine!!!

Anybody know anymore about this bike, I can't see myself riding one, but that is gonna be one noisy Mutha......

I wouldn't mind a test ride. Might try and blag one when I test the Daytona!

I was reading the Accessories brochure, at the Carbon Can in particular, and there is a blurb at the back which says
'These Silencers don't not conform to EPA regulations and if fitted to any bike subject to the EPA regulations would be seen as tampering'
Why don't they conform to EPA regs, does that mean that this can is LOUD

Ive got a stainless Carbon can co err Can for the kwack , it does sound bloody luverly but is a tad noisey for coming home at 1am so ive got the standard back on for a day or 2 , going to send the can back and have it made road legal , should still make a roar though and it might cut it down on the flame pitting side of things

the daytona 600 with can is nice sounding but not overly loud.

the daytona 955i sounds great with the race cans
and the rocket pulls more G from 1300rpm than a hyabusa.

its designed purely for the american market, and I think it will sell well!

but I wouldnt bank it over like this
