I always ride in a dark visor during the day (regardless of what some idiot bureaucrat thinks I should be doing). It's a safety thing and that's the end of the story. As an intelligent adult, I will do everything to stay safe, and if that means breaking the law, then so be it.
I do however always carry my clear visor at all times (in a bag thing around my waist) as it's not just fading light that causes visibility problems with my dark visor - it's crap in the rain too.

Nice one umar
When are you thinking of doing your bike test then ?
Well, i have found out all the details from a training centre in Taplow, Berks. Its going to cost me about £550 to do the Direct Access, which includes everything i need to pass.
I am thinking of doing the actual test in the new year, aroung the middle of January, simply because i have no time to spare untill then.
Question:
are there places (or even PHer's ) that can talk to me about riding bikes, in general, the do's and don't, how things work, that sort of thing. I can read books until i'm blue in the face but dosn't compare with talking to people about it

DO[/do] Go fast
DON'T Fall off
Its does help to practice low speed manouvers on a mountain bike tight turns etc , helps with your balance when you hve to do a tight turn in the road on the bike ,
I go to a quiet carpark once in a while and practice low speed control , might sound daft but its fun especialy the wheelie across the lenght of the car park ............ helps learn balance
