Passed test in July and used the bike most of the time since then, in most weather conditions.

A bit wary and nervous at the start but it suddenly seemed to click, although still not the fastest rider.

Anyway, had to park it up last night and get the L200 out for this weekend. I had no idea how much I would hate driving a car/truck again after the bike.

Is this normal withdrawal symptoms after only one day?

God knows what it will be like when the ice hits and I'm in the car/truck again for a while.

Anyway.
I can choose between a Scooby STi, a Volvo V70 and the bikes.

I only take the car when I need to carry people or goods, or work demands. Cold and lousy weather don't change things, but eventually snaow and ice lead to nagging (don't leave a widdow and kids) and a week or so on the train.

You need good gear and gloves!

Worse than a drug. I've also done the winter riding thing and have decided to be a fair weather biker from now on. But I still suffer withdrawal symptoms when I have to use the car. Just have to wait for a crisp winter day to get the bike out and give it a thrash.
