Donnington tamed..

Did donnington yesterday, what a great track! some real high speed corners, where getting the line wrong can ruin your time.

We were mingled in with the racers from the triumph official team, valmoto.

I just get this bit.. How can I be leaned right over, scraping my pegs, to be overtaken round the outside like I was standing still? OK slicks help, but you can only lean so far- right?

there is a track day there on thursday and Im off

i plan to see what the weathers like tommorrow and see if they will let me book a place

Get higher pegs? Hang off the bike so it's more upright?

It seems that its in conjunction with performance bikes and that there might be a couple of WSB stars there

Did Ron Haslam race school track day a few years ago on a CBR6. Thought I was getting on OK until Leon Haslam (who was about 15 at the time) passed me on a CB500.....very humbling!
