Turn up in jeans, thick coat and shoes with a small heel. They will lend you a bike, if you've booked one, helmet and high viz waistcoat along with a radio for the on-road bit.

If you stick at it get the correct gear as soon as you can - it may well save your life.

Good luck and enjoy.......

don't forget gloves, if they don't provide them make sure you take your own or they may not let you ride.

Good luck you'll love it

Rumple they should supply stuff but..

Do you intend to buy a bike after the test and ride? if so you will need the stuff anyway so if you can you may as well buy it! (assuming your gonna stick with it)

Also I think( although they shouldnt) teh examiner will look at you and if your fully kitted up may sawy him a little. My examiner was asking me how my boots were as he intended in buying some he aslo commented on how well made my jaket was and said he liked it when people were fully kitted up.

All that was before my test.

ps. dont expect it to be easy! it isnt its quite hard if you havnt riden b4 and can be frustrating however its worth while.
