Is my GSXR an oil guzzling Shed

My 10 year old GSXR 750 has used 1 ltr of oil on 4000 miles is that a lot. Should I be worried?

being 10 yrs old, thats not suprinsing, even the modern ones burn a reasonable amount. have you got any signs of leaks?

Id suggest the piston walls are wearing etc.

no leaks at all and it doesnt smoke, well a very little puff of white smoke when booted (so im told)

Seems ok to me, if it was 4 litres in 1000 miles i'd be worried tho
