I've got one unused flip tip. I sold my gixxer 1 before I ever fitted it. If you want it you can have it for the same £60 that it cost me. E-mail me on mbtbaldwin@yahoo.co.uk. I'm in the northants area if that's any help.

What do you reckon is the likely outcome if caught using one of these on the roads?

I tried to get hold of bike2track a few weeks back, couldn't get hold of them. Denny, does the plate have the manufacturers name or address on it or on the box?
Or does anyone know who actually makes them?

Mr b if denny doesn't have it, i'll buy it

Yip I love my flip plate, posibly the best automotive or biking item ive ever bought in terms of val for money.

However Im not supprised bike2track have gone out of business as IMHO their customer service was crap. I had to return my 1st plate coz it just kept throwing a wobbler & despite many phone calls it took about 4 months till i got it back fixed!

This one has thrown one wobber when I washed the bike with a hose it then diddnt work for approx 2 weeks, but then it was fine again & has been ok even in moonsoon like rain. (I dont use a hose to clean it any more tho!!)

I know it won't last much longer as Dennis's is the 3rd flip plate failure I know of, so Im just living on borrowed time but its seen approx 2 yrs use so far.

I see a big market for anyone who brings out another flip plate & preferably it should be cable operated which would then do away with any electrical probs.
