Plod have got some Honda XR400 motocrossers to keep an eye on green laners in Dorset just as i was thinking of selling the kwack to get a crosser you cant have fun anywhere these days

Easy get yourself a WR450 with proper off road tyres and go for it, with all the old crap they have to carry they'll never keep up plus they will be forced to ride bikes that are totally "legal" to the letter. I also had a conversation with a off road guide who works in the Pennines and had been employed to help train South Yorks police when they got given some off roaders, he continuously chuckled and was pretty proud that by the end of the week they had managed to bend 3 out of 4 coppers and 4 out of 4 bikes, the questions were along the lines of "what foot should I put down when I stop" answer "any bloody foot you can this is off road"

Was thinking about it . But as the b@stards seem to be out to outlaw fun offroad as well as on , i'd just as well stick to silly speeds on the tarmac

Know what you mean we get shafted which ever way. I have lined up a trials bike for the winter, hopefully i wont see one of those with panniers and a blue light !
