like some people do email chess.. who fancies starting a lap time challenge on the playstation and post results?

rules: time trial, dry track, sim off, ANY bike and setup.

name your track, or shall we stick to just donnington+suzuka?

(ted, what about a page for records on car/bike related games)

positions so far - donnington

1. 3 min 0 sec N/a proton Fp1
2. 3 min 0 sec N/a proton Fp1
3. 3 min 0 sec N/a proton Fp1
4. 3 min 0 sec N/a proton Fp1
5. 3 min 0 sec N/a proton Fp1

Sounds good (Donnington's my favourite). I'll give it a go. Have you got to the 50 challenges yet. Some take a while to complete. I'm up to 37 at the moment. Then the missus wanted the TV back. I'll kick her off again tonight hopefully.

I only managed an hour last night, so carried on with the challenges. I'm up to about 42 now on some track that is suspended in mid-air.
CBRRRRRRRRRRRRRR - respect to you.

Help me, I'm struggling on the earliest challenges. The thing I'm finding tricky is keeping the weight on the front whilst turning, or can't this be done?
Those last bends on Suzuka are driving me nuts

I havent had a chance to bag playstation time for ages, too much decorating to be done! Think I need to throw a sicky off work...

I dont know how you beat all the challenges!! I darent even switch on sim mode. just too hard.

as for keeping the weight on the front, reconfig the keys so you can do weight shifting on the buttons.

I thought there were 50 challenges only to find there are another 50. I'm now up to 93 or 94 where it tasks you to win a race in difficult mode. I'm finding whatever bike set up you have, I still come last. It's driving me mad !!!!. As for being unable to keep the front wheel down, I don't find it prevents you from winning. I think you need to put in more hours!!!!. I've got it in my head to win all 100 challenges before carrying on with the racing.

I don't have any fancy bike set up to share. You've got me thinking I've got an easy set up or something, but i'm sure there's only one level on the challenges.

Donnington Time trial

1. 1 min 31.784 sec s2ooz Honda RC211V
2. 3 min 00.000 sec N/a proton Fp1
3. 3 min 00.000 sec N/a proton Fp1
4. 3 min 00.000 sec N/a proton Fp1
5. 3 min 00.000 sec N/a proton Fp1

chased the ghost developer "l.one" for hours but never caught his 1.29m...

any more?

I gave up on the weight shifting idea, I dont think it helps.
