It's not actually a Mille anymore!!
Has received glowing reports all round. Reckoned to be the most powerful V-Twin yet - can't wait for it to be tested alongside the 999. Apparently Ducati might be in for a shock.
Mine's on order for the new year...........
Got a delivery date yet??

Picked mine up on 9 september from DK, have only done just over 300 miles since i got it. i had a gsxr 1000 before that, lets just say that after getting my rsvr i will never go back to 4 cylinders again.... i love it ...its brill!!
Having never ridden a twin could you explain what makes it better?
I have ridden a gixxer thou and thought it was amazing would I like a mille even more?
I think the best way to explain it is that when i had the gsxr it was great, it did everything, but the problem was it was too easy if that makes sense. Put it this way, if you got into trouble with it you could get away with certain things, i think it hid the facts, as in if i was a good or bad rider, plus the fact that it felt like all the other 4cyl 1000cc bikes that i have ridden and owned... only newer .... they all look the same these days.
With the rsvr its different..... its fab to look at, it gets you all exited every time you go to it and thats before you even start it up.
As far as the ride is concerned i think its alot more challenging in that the bike seems to need alot more input, but feels like its giving you alot more feedback...if you do something that it doesnt like it lets you know but also you can feel what the bike is doing much more.... thus giving me a much better feeling of satisfaction with my riding... oh and i nearly forgot then theres the sound and as yer man said...TORQUE.....PLENTY OF IT!!!.
Been up to the cat and fiddle on it today and just passed the 500 miles mark so im now up to 6000 revs.....christ what a difference!
