Gonna get meself a trailer for me new track day bike but don't know what to look for.
I'm thinking along the lines of a 2 road bike/3 'crosser type thing so that it can cope with any future developments . These seem to be around the 500 quid mark - sound ok? How about 2nd hand?
Should I be getting one with a jockey wheel, they seem to be extra on most but I'd imagine not having one would be a real ball ache?
Then there's the tow bar issue.............
HELP!!!

Should be able to get one cheaper than that. Have a look in MCN. I'm building one (well its sitting there waiting for me to start! another poject ) I thought ' I can build one cheaper than that'.

I personally wont put a jockey wheel on as the trailer will be light enought to lift on and i'll only load and unload bikes with it attached to my car.

Mate of mine has just had one built "professionally".
The axle was in the wrong place for weight distribution, the welding needed extra to make it strong enough. The wheel bearing seals failed cos they and the hubs wern't put together correctly. These were returned and replaced by the builder, who gave him two new bearings without the face having been machined and plashed them on his counter which was covered in filings.
Can't remember the trailer builders name and mate not currently contactable but could get advice from him if you need to know where he may be operating out of.

Believe the problematic trailer was made by a company near a Cathedral City in the North East. A "ville" subject to Dragons.
No naming & shaming here then.
If you need any more help, I'll e mail you off line.
