Car vs bike !

Well I thought I'd post this.

After driving a rapid car for a while, I can easily say that once you get over 90mph, a bike is LOTS safer, and lots more fun.

Up to 90, and I'd say the car (VX) wins on both points. So as a "have fun while going slow" thing, a sportscar is good. But for out and out thrills, a sportsbike is unbeatable.

You do of course know what this means.

Oh god, it's "getting" not "got", but not this year or Mrs Biker will be seriously unimpressed*. But I am looking forward to next years crop of super mentalist machines. Stuff low power high weight, I want something FAST again.

After driving the VX, I realise that numptism is everywhere, and that I am just as likely to be pulled out on in a car ----- but less chance to avoid it. Hence my fears are now averted, and I'm back on the trail.



* but I can live with this if neccessary..

oi !!!! I feel a GSXR750 coming on so f-off !!!! (only joking, I know I deserve a ribbing over my frequent change-of-mind!). Apparently I have 4 years NCB, so am seriously thinking of a mentalist machine. Not the thou, 'cos you need a garage.

well you do have 2 years to get another one... but it probably won't be that long. Seeing as the weather has gone all British summer on us, I won't be getting one this weekend that's for sure!
