Well I thought I'd post this.
After driving a rapid car for a while, I can easily say that once you get over 90mph, a bike is LOTS safer, and lots more fun.
Up to 90, and I'd say the car (VX) wins on both points. So as a "have fun while going slow" thing, a sportscar is good. But for out and out thrills, a sportsbike is unbeatable.
You do of course know what this means.

Oh god, it's "getting" not "got", but not this year or Mrs Biker will be seriously unimpressed*. But I am looking forward to next years crop of super mentalist machines. Stuff low power high weight, I want something FAST again.
After driving the VX, I realise that numptism is everywhere, and that I am just as likely to be pulled out on in a car ----- but less chance to avoid it. Hence my fears are now averted, and I'm back on the trail.
