I've got a bike!!

On Friday I bought me a new toy.

A Honda RVF 400 (NC35)

The bike of my dreams. Its fantastic although the long (350miles) motorway journey home was very tiresome. Definently not what the bike was made for.

Despite only being a "little" bike as far as I'm concened its rocketship fast.
I was impressed to begin with but after a while on the motorway I decided to see what the top end was like.

Its like engaging warp drive. I've never accelerated so fast in my life. And the noise as it goes to 14000rpm...
And the handling is great. So light and direct.

The only downside is that the tyres have flat spots in them now
So the handling won't be as good as it could be.
I'll have to see if driving round roundabouts constantly will sort them out cos there's still loads of milage left in them.

I'll also post a piccie as soon as it stops raining.
I'm off to polish it now.

Never mind that! Go clean the bike.

Good choice by the way, and I wouldn't consider it a small bike at all. These 400s are single-minded pocket-rockets. Get it on the track and see the looks on the boys and girls on the R1s, Fireblades, Gixxers etc as you whizz by on the corners.
