On monday morning at 10.30 I passed my direct access test.

I've been a bit busy the last couple of days buying all my new gear.

I've got SIDI boots, Hien Gerick leathers and a Shoei helmet.

Here's hoping it will never be called upon.

My next big job is to buy a bike.
I've got good insurance quotes on Honda RVF400's but unfortunately they're as rare as hens teeth up here in Scotland.

So I may be coming down to England to get one at some point.

Does anyone have any advice or buying tips

Andy

Yeah ref buying tips, buy my VFR400 (in the classifieds) for a fraction of the cost instead

no seriously the RVFs are so far ahead of the VFRs in handling they are chalk & cheeze the VFR's are good but the RVFs are bloody amazing! but then at 3 times the cost they should be, same power tho- well in fact the VFRs are ment to have a tiny bit more grunt than RVF's actaully, but run flat out head to head I diddnt notice it.

My buddy migh be selling his RVF (S/E uk based)
Drop me an e-mail via profile if you want contact details etc

good man! another pass-ee. Welcome to the most exciting thing you are likely to do!

I've done bikes, got a fast car, and 2 weeks later - I still reckon bikes are more fun. So enjoy yourself!!
