Dodge 500bhp V10 engined 'motorbike' at Goodwood!



Sounded fantastic! But I think he was struggling with the corners...

On a Road Traffic Day 98db static test at half a metre at threequarter max. revs. With a drive by of 96db at 10 metres.

On a Goodwood Day 105db static test at half a metre at threequarter max. revs. With a drive by of 101db at 10 metres.

It looks like he was trying to counter-steer it and found out a little late that it - erm - doesn't.

Does it wheelie, though?

I think an R500 will be in a lot of trouble with those noise limits unless something special has been done both exhaust wise and induction noise wise! He should check on an R500 forum pdq.

In the new Octane magazine there is a piece about it

When it goes into production (they are actually going to make them!) it will be known as the Tomahawk. It has the 8.3 litre V10 Viper engine which kicks out 500 bhp and can reach 250 mph!

It also costs around £250,000

I for one am glad there is still a company out there with the balls to create something like this
